this collection was infused with early 90’s vibes and monumental moments in my life during that time. the style is inspired by receiving a lei for the first time and the colors that permeated my creativity.
each necklace takes many hours to weave and is typically completed in about a week. the act of weaving is a symbolic practice of acknowledging the interwoven threads that connect us; the sensory reminder of the umbilical cord back to the Great Mother.
